Dynamic QR codes: print once, change the destination any time
A static QR code has its destination baked into the pattern. Once it is printed, it can never point anywhere else. A dynamic code points to a short link that you control, so the printed code stays the same while the destination changes.
Static or dynamic?
A static code is fine for something that never changes. A menu, a flyer or a poster usually does change: a new price list, a new campaign page, a typo in the address. With a static code that means reprinting. With a dynamic code you change the destination in your dashboard and every printed copy follows.

Frequently asked questions
Do my printed codes stop working?
Not by time. A code stops only if you move to a smaller plan and it no longer fits: then it is paused and, after 30 days, removed. Moving back up within those 30 days brings it back.
Can I see how often a code is scanned?
Yes. Every plan counts scans. From Starter you also see when, from which country and city, and on which device.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan has three dynamic codes with scan counts, for as long as you like.
